Students in the STSC major have opportunities to learn beyond the classroom setting. Many travel around the world to earn credits during a semester or full year abroad. Others have pursued their own original, independent research projects. Through Career Services, undergraduates have found research assistant and intern positions.
Drawing on Penn's extensive resources, including Penn Abroad, the Wolf Humanities Center, and the Center for Undergraduate Research and Fellowships (CURF), STSC supports our students' aspirations to know and understand the world, whether on campus or anywhere else curiosity might lead.
