Dr. Pinto-Martin is the Viola MacInnes/Independence Professor in the Department of Biobehavioral Health Sciences at the UPENN School of Nursing with a secondary appointment in the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at PSOM. She has expertise in epidemiologic studies of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as the assessment of developmental trajectories in children. She has extensive experience in study protocols and procedures, enrollment and assessment of participants and interpretation of study findings and manuscript preparation activities. Her current research is funded by a U01 from the Centers for Disease Control, and focuses on the epidemiology of ASD.
