Monica Amoo-Achampong '12 (HSOC)

Monica’s research project is about children and malaria in Ghana.  She will be interviewing mothers to see how they recognize that their child may have malaria and the decision-making process that follows, interviewing policymakers and healthcare providers to see if mothers are a target for national programs aimed at reducing under-five deaths from malaria, and surveying the media to see if there are health messages that address mothers of children under five
