Research Interests
My dissertation, tentatively titled “Dairy Democracy: Food and Technopolitics in Modern South Asia”, is a social and environmental history of dairy industrialization in colonial and postcolonial India. It addresses critical debates in history and political economy of development, agrarian and enviornmental history, and the history of postcolonial South Asia.
