Becoming a Health and Societies Major
If you decide to declare HSOC as your major, you need to complete the following steps:
1. Download and complete the HSOC Application
2. Prepare a Penn-in-Touch worksheet for HSOC that selects an in-major concentration
3. Meet with your Pre-Major advisor or a College advisor and
(i) Have s/he make your HSOC worksheet official
(ii) Have s/he initial and date your HSOC application
4. Meet with Dr. Greene (Undergraduate Coordinator) or the HSOC Director to
(i) Go over your application and discuss your concentration and proposed program
of study
(ii) Clear registration hold (if any)
(iii) Become an HSOC major
