Becoming a Health and Societies Major
If you decide to declare HSOC as your major, you need to complete the following steps:
1. Download the HSOC Application and fill it out.
2. Prepare a Penn-in-Touch worksheet for HSOC that selects an in-major concentration
3. Meet with your Pre-Major advisor and
(i) Have your advisor make your worksheet official
(ii) Have your advisor initial and date your HSOC application
4. Meet with Dr. Greene or Dr. Barnes
(i) Discuss your proposed program of study
(ii) Clear your registration hold if any
(iii) Be accepted into the major
